Terminal emulation configuration utilities are required only for advanced functions like AirLoader, keyboard remapping and screen remapping, though they can be used for less advanced configuration activities. Once downloaded, unzip with folder names to a Windows-32 PC, and into a folder (C:\TWINCLIENT or C:\PROGRAM FILES\TWINCLIENT). Run setup.exe to install. Very rarely, an XCOPY32 window opens and asks "Does xxx.yyy specify a file name or directory name on the target (F = file, D = directory?", press the F key. Then, if necessary, move cp30fw.dll to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder on your PC.

You can update or customize the messages, or the location on the screen where the messages are displayed by editing this file on your terminal. This file contains parameter lines of the format:
a=b,c,d,e,f;
where...
a - msg id
b - row
c - column
d - (0) - display msg, no waiting for key press
(-1) - display msg, then wait for key press
(-2) - display msg and display "press any key...", then wait for key press
(>0) - display msg, value is number of milliseconds to wait for key press
e - number of beeps
(>0) - one tone beep
(<0) - two tone beep
f - msg text
Download the Terminal Emulation Messages File which contains error and warnings text that can be modified with a text editor.
