Services for Solutions Providers
We offer high level lead referral through promotional activities such as advertisements, trade shows, seminars and direct mailings. We generate numerous inquiries for FactoryView products. Each inquirer is promptly sent literature and then qualified to determine the level of interest. You will receive qualified leads based on territory and market focus. We believe that this high level referral process is an excellent way to assist you in reaching only the best, decision-ready customers.
Joint Sales Presentation
In addition to our Tucson-based support staff, each Solution Provider is assigned a Regional Sales Manager who assists in developing leads and providing sales support that includes joint sales calls. These managers are experts in selling data collection and data acquisition systems and are there to assist you with your sales.
Authorized Solution Providers are eligible to participate in a Cooperative promotion program. Once a minimum annual level of purchases has been met, a percentage of all future net purchases will be accrued as cooperative promotion funds. These funds may be used on pre-approved trade shows, direct mailings, advertising, seminars and related activities. Another way we assist you in promoting your products and services to potential customers.
World Wide Web Access
Our home page on the Internet gives immediate access to anyone who wants current information about our products, sample applications, demonstration programs, technical documentation, applications notes, and product information as well as up to date trade show and seminar information. Our site also lists our Solutions Providers with links to YOUR home page. Just one way we help get prospects to you!
Customized on-site training is available for Solution Providers and their customers, arranged through your Regional Sales Manager. We also offer FactoryView Forums which provide valuable information regarding the successful implementation of user applications. Another advanced feature of our program.
Payment terms for Solution Providers are net 30 or net 60 depending on approved credit evaluation.
Trade Show Support
We encourage our Solution Providers to participate in local and regional trade shows. As your partner, we are happy to provide you with sales support, literature, signage and demonstration equipment when it is available.
Regional seminars are held on a pre-scheduled basis. These sessions are jointly organized with Intelligent Instrumentation staff.
A wide range of literature is available for you and your customers including technical and promotional materials and bulk literature for trade shows. Literature may be obtained free of charge by phoning or faxing our customer support services group.
We are dedicated to providing excellent technical sales and product support both before and after the sale. We offer a toll free number for our Solution Providers with priority access to application specialists to assist in system design and in the use of our Factoryview products. The same toll free number also reaches our customer support services group to assist you with order entry, delivery status, return material authorization and literature fulfillment.
Our excellent field record of product reliability and outstanding Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) allow us to offer an extended warranty on our products – warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of purchase to end-users and extended by an additional three months for our Solution Providers.
To be considered an eligible member of our FVSP program, all Solution Providers must meet the following criteria:
- Establish a minimum credit line of $5K with our Credit Department
- Maintain at least one full-time technical support person
- Generate a minimum annual sales revenue of $25K
- Complete a FVSP credit application and reseller agreement
